About Basohli Utsav
In the first fortnight of October 2024, the second Basohli Utsav was organized, building on the festival conceived in 2023 by the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) to instill a sense of pride in local art, culture, and heritage.
Basohli painting was granted a Geographical Indication (GI) tag in 2023, highlighting the region’s extraordinary artistic tradition.
